Do I have any last minute shoppers over here today? Well don't worry, because I've got you covered with a list of gift ideas for the home you can still get by Christmas from Amazon*. And no, this isn't a sponsored post - it's just plain smart to take advantage of that magical two day shipping option that comes with a Prime membership rather than running all over town trying to find that last minute present! Doesn't it sound much nicer to shop in your PJs with a glass of wine in hand than fighting traffic and other crazed shoppers?
You can even get one or same day shipping for certain items depending on where you live, and if you're not a Prime member, you can give it a try for free for 30 days. Win win win.
Amazon has a huge selection (obviously!), and it can be overwhelming to browse unless you know exactly what you're looking for, so I'm hoping this curated list will point you in the right direction. You can also use Amazon's departments and categories to sort through and narrow down the options. Also, as you shop (especially for gifts) take note of the return policy - it can vary by item, and sometimes there are restocking fees associated with sending an item back.
All right! Let's dive into some last minute gift ideas for the home!
1 | Mini Faux Deer Head: Faux taxidermy has been popular for quite awhile now, and for good reason! These wall hangings are a great addition to a gallery wall or hung on their own. I love the dimension and texture, and this particular version comes in a ton of different color combos.
2 | Modern Salt & Pepper Mills: These might be the most lovely minimalist modern salt and pepper mills I've ever seen. At first I thought they were bottles of some kind, but they're just cleverly designed to look like that thanks to their shape and cork top. You'll be proud to have these guys on permanent display in your dining room or kitchen.
3 | Rose Gold Wall Clock: Even though it seems like everything is going digital, sometimes it's still nice to have analog items around, and this wall clock is a perfect example. I love its simplicity.
4 | Multicolored Bowl Set: Perfect for cereal, ice cream, soup, and whatever else needs to go in a bowl! These are dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer safe as well. You can't beat that killer combination of pretty and functional!
5 | Havana Floral Notepad: I've sung Rifle Paper Co.'s praises before, and I'll do it again - this time with a gorgeous to do list notepad! I love having one of these around in my office, in the kitchen, or by the front door when I need to jot down a quick note by hand.
6 | Geometric Peaks Throw Pillow Cover: Pick up a pair of these pillows for the modern home decor-obsessed person in your life. The neutral colors and simple design will complement just about any color scheme.
7 | Sea Salt & Sage Candle: This candle has a really fresh and clean scent - it's definitely a crowd pleaser! The dipped concrete container adds some style points as well.
8 | Set of 20 Succulents: Yes you can buy plants online! These come in several sized sets, so if 20 sounds like a lot, you can downshift. This is perfect for the DIYer who wants to create his or her own terrarium or mini succulent garden.
9 | Stackable Glass Storage Containers: Staying organized can be tough, but when you have the right containers, you'll be far more motivated. These glass containers are great for the kitchen, and they're pretty enough to leave out on the counter.
10 | Mini Lightbox With Letters, Numbers & Symbols: Similar to the letter board idea I shared in one of my previous guides, this lightbox allows you to get those creative juices flowing with a clever phrase you can put on display. You can change it up as the mood strikes!
11 | Color Blocked Bamboo Kitchen Utensils: Kitchen tools don't have to be totally utilitarian. Add some fun with colored handles (or white, in this case) that will still look uniform when stored in a countertop crock.
12 | Floating Wall Shelf: This little shelf packs a lot of organizational punch, doesn't it? It's perfect for small spaces - hang a few together to maximize your vertical storage!
13 | Modern Bud Vases: I've had my eye on this unique flower vase for quite awhile now. It comes in several color combinations. It'll be a beautiful centerpiece on a table or set it on top of a dresser to add a pop of color.
14 | Glass Dome With Ash Base: I can think of so many different ideas for this glass dome. It's gorgeous on its own, but you could also fill it with small ornaments for the holidays, enclose a mini cake inside, or fill it with fairy lights.
15 | Hanging Chain Photo Frames: Have a little wall space to fill? Try a set of these brass photo frames! The hanging chain is unique and will definitely be a conversation starter.
16 | Painted Dots Hamper: Great for kids and adults alike, this hamper's fun design will certainly be a hit and entice you to actually put your dirty clothes in the right spot.
Happy shopping, my friends! I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the holiday season. See you back here on the blog in 2018!
