Coastal California Style Pillow Roundup from Society6
Society6 is one of my favorite lesser-known sources for products designed by independent artists. If you aren’t familiar with it, it’s basically a marketplace for artists to share designs that can be printed on a variety of different products like home decor, furniture, and even apparel. You choose the product and the pattern, and Society6 will make the product just for you. It’s a really neat way to support artists and find unique pieces for your home!
It can be a tad overwhelming to navigate because they have SO many options, but I find that if you’re willing to do a little digging, you can find some really beautiful stuff. I particularly like their textiles and other home decor, and I thought I’d round up a group of pillows to give you a head start on your search. Oh, and one other tip - if you find an artist you particularly like, you can click their name on any product page to see their entire collection and “follow” them.
Today I’m sharing pillows that fall into one of my favorite decorating styles - Coastal California. I love the eclectic, laidback look of this group. It’s a mix of earthy and organic, yet tailored at the same time. I included both warm and cool colors, and you’ll see quite a range of patterns as well. You could mix and match a lot of these together and they’d look great on a bed, sofa, or chair.
Society6 offers their pillows in several size options (including rectangular and square shapes), as well as both indoor and outdoor options. I particularly appreciate the outdoor option - you can really get a custom look for your outdoor space by adding a few of these!
