Hey friends! I’m excited to share the next post in the What Caught My Eye series today because it’s all about one of my favorite pieces of decor - art!

And it’s also because I’m sharing from one of my absolute favorite sources - Minted! The reason I love Minted is because their art collection is completely made up of pieces from independent artists and each print is a limited edition. This is a win-win in my book since you get a special piece for your home and you have an opportunity to help artists grow their businesses and keep doing what they love.

In case you’re not familiar with Minted, in addition to the art prints, they carry several types of products ranging from holiday cards to stationery to home items like throw pillows. They’re all designed by that community of independent artists, and I think Minted has done a fantastic job putting together a gorgeous collection all the way around. They’ve got options in a variety of styles to fit all sorts of different tastes.

Back to the art prints though - I wanted to give you a little primer on how to shop and give you a sense of the options you have. There are three main choices to make:

  • Format: Your first choice is to decide whether you want your art print framed, unframed, or on canvas (you can find the options for canvas prints right here).

  • Frame: If you do decide to have it framed, they’ve got 15 options to choose from in different colors and styles - from rustic to modern. My personal favorites are the thin metal frames. They’re a little bit more expensive, but they’re so pretty.

  • Size: Minted carries a really nice range of sizes, so no matter whether you have a large or small space for that piece, they’ve got a size for you. For portrait or landscape pieces, you’ll find prints from 5”x7” all the way to 44”x60” (huge!). For square pieces, it’s 8”x8” up to 44”x44”.

Finally, you can also choose to have an artist’s signature on some of the prints, which is a really nice touch.

All right, now that you’re up to speed on how to shop Minted, let’s jump into my picks for this week’s What Caught My Eye!

They currently have over 2,500 pieces in their collection and I narrowed my picks down to 15 - and yes, I really did go through their whole collection! Art is such a personal decision, and these are all pieces that spoke to me, but I hope that this roundup will lead you to take a look through and find some that you like too. Don’t leave those walls empty, friends!

Below you’ll find my roundup with links to each of the pieces in order from left to right, top to bottom. Below that is a nice little widget that allows you to click right on the piece itself so you can easily go right to that piece. If you’re on a feed reader or getting this in your inbox, you’ll need to click over to the full website to use that tool!
