Hey friends! Today in the What Caught My Eye series, we’re headed to a lovely online retailer - Lulu & Georgia!

Lulu & Georgia has become one of my favorite places to shop for all-things-home over the past several years. It has an amazing, but not overwhelming (that’s key!), selection of furniture, decor, accessories, and RUGS! We’ll get to that last one in a sec. They’ve done a really nice job of spanning several different styles and price points - you can find very affordable pieces right alongside higher end items.

And this week, they’re having an Anniversary sale where you can take 25% off of anything on their site! Use code BIGNEWS to save. That 25% off can save you a nice chunk of change, so don’t miss out on that opportunity!

Now, I’m changing up my format a little bit this week because I wanted to dedicate one roundup solely to rugs. Lulu & Georgia’s collection of rugs can’t be beat. For real. If you like vintage-style rugs, Moroccan, tribal, subtle patterns, etc., you’ll be sure to find something that’s up your alley. I could pretty much close my eyes, point to any rug on their site and be thrilled with it. That’s how much I love their selection!

For my second roundup, I kept things general and simply picked out some favorites from their site across all categories. If you like what you’re seeing, be sure to head over to see more of what they have - I couldn’t possibly scratch the surface with my little roundup!

Let’s take a look at my favorite finds. Below each image you’ll find links to the products. If it’s easier for you, you can scroll down to the very bottom of the post where I you can scroll through individual clickable images that will take you right to the pieces on the Lulu & Georgia website. (If you’re on a feed reader or in your email, you’ll need to head to the full site to access that feature.)

Lulu & Georgia Rug Favorites

Lulu & Georgia is one of my favorite places to shop for modern, coastal, and eclectic furniture and decor, and I’ve rounded up a bunch of my favorites from their rug collection to share with you! They have an amazing selection. // #designerfinds…

I think the rugs speak for themselves pretty well, so instead of choosing a few to talk about individually, I thought I’d share some rug shopping tips!

  • Bigger is often better when it comes to rugs. In living rooms, my preference is for the main pieces of furniture (like sofas and chairs) all have at least the front feet sitting on the rug. In bedrooms, a significant portion of the rug should be under the bed (go for about 2/3rds) or use runners down each side. In dining rooms, be sure that when you pull your chairs out that all four legs stay on the rug.

  • Take a look at what the material is of the rug to make sure it’s the right fit for the room and your lifestyle. Wool, natural fibers like jute, and polypropylene are hard-working materials that tend to wear well. Those are great for high traffic areas. Cotton feels nice underfoot, but isn’t as durable. Save that for low traffic spaces like bedrooms.

  • Decide whether you want your rug to be the star of the show or play a supporting role. A bold rug can be an amazing statement in a room, but make sure that’s the vibe you’re going for in there! Neutral rugs are easy to build a room around and can have real staying power - it’ll be easier to change out furniture and decor around it over time.

Lulu & Georgia Furniture and Decor Favorites

Lulu & Georgia is one of my favorite places to shop for modern, coastal, and eclectic furniture and decor, and I’ve rounded up a bunch of my favorites from their rug collection to share with you! They have an amazing selection. // #designerfinds…

Black & White Table Lamp | Modern Black Floor Lamp | Green Velvet Sofa | Distressed Candlestick | Scandinavian Wood Round Mirror | Blue Shibori Throw Blanket | “Navy Geo” Art Print | “Eveleen” Art Print | Ivory Linen Chair | Gray Velvet & Brass Oval Ottoman | Round Rattan Side Table | Blue Contrast Stitch Pillow | Blue/Ivory Tassel Lumbar Pillow | Concrete Planter with Cactus | Modern Two Tier Planter

Here are some notes about a few of these pieces:

  • Green Velvet Sofa: If you want to make a statement in your living room, a colored sofa like this dark green one is definitely one way to do it! This affordable modern couch has unique lines to it (those arms!) and looks comfortable enough for lounging too.

  • “Navy Geo” Art Print: This abstract art print from Britt Bass Turner has been a longtime favorite of mine - I love that Lulu & Georgia are carrying it! There are a bunch of different frame options too, so you can customize it to fit your style and room.

  • Round Rattan Side Table: Part of Justina Blakeney’s furniture collection, this woven side table is so fun and brings an eclectic vibe into your home. Note that it is on the shorter side for a side table, so make sure that it will look balanced height-wise next to your sofa or chair.

  • Gray Velvet & Brass Oval Ottoman: Is subtle glam is your jam? Then I’ve got the ottoman for you! Though this velvet one has simple lines, the oval shape is unique, as is the brass base.

So, have you shopped at Lulu & Georgia before? Do you have any favorite pieces? Don’t forget to take advantage of the 25% off sale they have going through the end of this week!

Have a great weekend, y’all!
