ONBOARDING STEPS

FULL ROOM E-DESIGN PACKAGE

 

I can’t wait to work with you to design your space!
Please follow the onboarding steps below to get started.


Step 1: Fill out a questionnaire.

This helps us understand the scope of your project, style, budget, and wish list. The more specific you can be, the better! If you have any special requests, please use the short answer areas to provide details. I’ll be in touch via email to follow up on next steps!

Step 2: Email Chaney photos and a floor plan.

Make sure to capture all angles of the room in landscape mode. I suggest starting in one corner and working your way around the room.

The floor plan can be simple and hand-drawn (here’s a guide!) - please include dimensions for walls, doorways, windows, along with ceiling height and any important architectural elements.

 
 

Step 3: Pull together inspiration photos.

Find pictures of rooms that show your style and either create a Pinterest/Houzz board for them (send the link/invitation to collaborate to chaney@mixandmatchdesign.com) or email them directly. This is a very important part of the process to make sure our visions for the look/design of the space are the same.

Step 4: Purchase your design package.

You'll receive a proposal from Mix & Match Design Company for the e-design service that you’ll be able to approve and pay online. Payment must be received before the design phase begins.


Then it's onto the design phase!

Join the Client Portal

Once your design is ready, you’ll receive an email invitation to view the design board (like this one!) through my private client portal. Inside, you’ll be able to offer feedback and comments so we can refine the design if needed. Watch this short video to get oriented on how to use the portal.

Space Plan

Along with the design board, you’ll receive a to-scale floor plan to show you how the room is set up from a bird’s eye view.

Product List

After the design is finalized, I’ll upload your product list with direct shopping links and purchasing information. You’ll take it from there! to put your new brand new, beautiful room together!

 

Anytime you send an email with questions or feedback, you will receive a response within one business day (Monday-Friday). Timely responses from your side will ensure the best experience as well, and with good communication, we can put together the design plan in just a couple of weeks!*

*Note: If there is a lapse in communication of greater than 30 days without notifying me of the need for extra time, Mix & Match Design Company reserves the right to close the project and charge a $25 reopening fee. This fee must be paid prior to continuing the project.
