H&M is one of my “secret” sources for home decor. I’ve talked about it before on the blog, but if you’re new around here and aren’t familiar with this department of the retailer, I’m excited to introduce you to it. I hope it’ll be a great place for you to shop for affordable modern and eclectic decor!

They recently rolled out some new items for fall and I’m loving what I’m seeing. H&M kills it in a few categories like tabletop, linens, and pillows, and you’ll see that my roundup includes lots of items in those categories! Their current lineup has a lot of pieces that are perfect for transitioning your home to fall. It’s amazing what a new duvet (like that green plaid one!) or a few throw pillows can do to change up the look of a room.

One thing to note about H&M is that most of their locations don’t carry items from the home department in store, unfortunately. So don’t make the mistake I have in the past and expect to waltz into your local store to shop - just plan to order online! I’ve been really happy with the quality of the pieces I’ve picked up from there, so you can feel pretty confident with what you’ll get if you decide to shop there.

Favorite Home Decor From H&M Home

Here a few thoughts on some of my favorites!

  • Gray Lumbar Pillow Cover: this is an oversized lumbar pillow (it’s 20”x35” - basically the size of a king pillow) and it looks so high end! I love the mini tassels, the subtle denim-like texture, and the simple stripes on either side. One of these would look awesome on a bed as an accent pillow or you could use two of them as decorative shams. They’d be pretty big for a sofa though, so keep that in mind!

  • Black Marble Salt & Pepper Shakers: I never thought I’d get so excited about salt and pepper shakers, but man, these are pretty! The black marble is classic, but also modern. I may be picking up a set for our table.

  • Modern Black Planter on Stand: This one is a great size and only $24.99! I’ve seen comparable plant stands for double or triple the price, so snatch one of these up if you need a home for one of your plants. It also comes in silver or gold with a black stand.

  • Rust Cotton Throw Blanket: Doesn’t this look like such a cozy blanket? It’s a great weight for the transition from summer to fall, and would be perfect for a living room or on the end of a bed.

  • Navy Stoneware Serving Dish: I thought this was such a fun serving piece! The asymmetrical shape lends itself well to appetizers or chips and dip (with an additional bowl of course). It’ll look great sitting out on a countertop too!
