Mix & Match at the Philly Home + Garden Show!

**Update 2/23/17: Scroll down to the end to see the photos of the tablescape from the show!

If you're local to Philadelphia and have some free time the weekend of February 17th-19th, come on out and hang with me at the Philly Home + Garden Show! I'll be participating in a fun feature called "TV Tablescapes" with three other area designers - we'll all be decorating tables with the theme of a TV show in mind. Country Lane Furniture, an Amish furniture maker from the Lancaster, PA area is providing the tables and chairs, and I can't wait to flex my styling muscles to make them shine.

I'll be channeling my inner Olivia Pope from Scandal to pull together a table that has a sophisticated, cozy, and feminine feel with a little bit of an edge. :) If you've ever watched the show, I'm sure you can picture her elegant apartment and her killer wardrobe - that's where I'm pulling my inspiration from. It's going to be super fun!

I snagged a few images from ABC that give you a good idea of the look of the show:

Based on that inspiration, I created a mood board for the table with images that fit that Scandal vibe:

I'm 99% sure I'll be partnering with another fantastic company to help pull off this look, but we haven't quite hammered out the details, so I'm going to keep it a secret for now. I'll be sure to update this post when I know more, and I'll probably spill the beans over on Instagram once things are firmed up! (update 2/1/17: eek! so excited to be partnering with West Elm!)

In the meantime, here are some pieces that are similar to the ones I have in mind for my tablescape:

If you're planning on coming to the Home Show, give me a shout! I'd love to meet you. I won't be there the entire time, but will definitely be around for a good chunk of time throughout the weekend!

I'm thrilled with how everything turned out with the tablescape! An extra special thanks to my mom, who came up to help me get set up, and did the beautiful flower arrangements! It was a pleasure to partner with West Elm on this - they made it so easy for me to pick out the pieces I needed, and their tabletop prices are very reasonable. Definitely take a look at their items if you need new plates, silverware, glasses, etc.

If you want to shop the look, head to this link. I've got everything listed on that page!
