E-Design Mini Sessions Are Back!
It's mini session season, my friends! These quick-hitting e-design packages are back for a short time this spring (make sure you sign up before May 15th to reserve your spot!), and I can't wait to work with some of you to help solve your biggest design dilemmas. If you're signed up for my newsletter, you got a head's up that these were coming a couple of weeks ago (you can sign up for it at the bottom of this post if you'd like to receive those kinds of updates along with the latest news from Mix & Match), but now it's time to shout it from the rooftops!
So what exactly is a mini session, you ask?
A mini session is a great way to dip your toe into the world of e-design. The $75 package includes a video conference with me for up to an hour where we can chat about any design-related issues you're dealing with in your home, and then a couple of days after our session, you'll receive a Pinterest board full of ideas and products to help solve those issues. Since we'll be meeting on Facetime or Skype, you can easily show me different spaces in your home. It's simple, easy, and low time-commitment - think of this as an opportunity to pick a designer's brain from the comfort of your own home!
How is this different from the usual e-design packages?
Typically, with e-design, we start by collecting a lot of information about your home via a survey, photos, a floor plan, and inspiration photos, and then we move into the design phase where we work collaboratively to come up with a new design for your space. At the end, you leave with a shopping list in hand, a new floor plan (if applicable), and design boards that show you a life-like rendering of the new items in a sample room.
In a mini session, you don't send any information over about your space beforehand - we just dive right in during the consultation! At the end, you'll receive ideas and inspiration, and likely links to a few specific pieces of furniture/decor via Pinterest, but it's up to you to take those ideas and run with them. Since we're not taking any measurements of your space, it's important to make sure that any items I suggest will fit if you decide to make any purchases.
A mini session could be perfect for you if you're...
- Moving to a new place and need advice on where to put your furniture (or need help rearranging things in your current place!).
- Getting that guest room spruced up for company that's coming to visit.
- Looking to purchase a few items for a room, but don't know where to start.
- Wanting to style tricky spaces like bookcases, open shelving, or console tables, but aren't sure how.
- Needing a second set of eyes to talk through your ideas you've been mulling around.
You'll have my full attention for up to an hour, and you're welcome to ask me anything! We can concentrate on a single room or several, and focus on the big picture or the smallest details.
The last time I offered these, I chatted with folks about everything from how to make a small entryway more functional to how to rearrange a living room to make it more kid-friendly after having a baby. These conversations are fun and productive, and once we wrap things up, you'll have plenty of ideas to work with in your home!
Ready to get started? Awesome!
You can head on over to this page to sign up. Fill out the form and purchase your package, and you'll receive instructions within 24 hours on how to reserve a time slot. Sign ups will be open from May 1st - 15th, and sessions must be completed before June 30th, 2017.
If you have any questions, you can always contact me here. I can't wait to "meet" some of you soon!
