Favorite Finds: Walmart NextDay Delivery

Saving time and money is important to me, so I was excited to hear about Walmart’s new NextDay delivery service! It’s fast and FREE when you spend $35, and everything arrives the next day in one box. Learn more in my blog post!

This post is in collaboration with Walmart.*

With the addition of our baby boy in April, I’ve realized more than ever before that time is precious, and I’m constantly looking for things that make my life easier. Convenience is key these days, so when I heard about Walmart’s new NextDay delivery launch, I was super excited to check it out. If it can come straight to my door and fast, you’ve got my attention. Anyone else out there feel that way? There’s nothing worse than running out of something you need and not being able to run out and grab it quickly. If you’re stuck at home with a sleeping baby (like me!) and trying to run a business at the same time, this service is a perfect fit. As I’m quickly realizing, it takes so much longer to run errands with a little one in tow, so I’m a big fan of this idea.

If you’ve been around Mix & Match Design Company for long, you know I love sharing my favorite finds - especially when they’re a good deal or they offer something special. Well, NextDay delivery is something special, my friends! It’s FREE on orders over $35 (that’s not a hard threshold to cross if you’re like me!), there’s NO membership fee, and you get the benefit of Walmart’s enormous catalog of items. As long as you order before the daily cutoff time, you’ll receive your items the next day (Monday through Friday) - in one box!

Now, not everything on their site is eligible for NextDay shipping, but 100,000+ products(!) are across lots of categories like essentials (think laundry detergent and trash bags), personal care products, baby items, and even a good number of pieces in the home section! That’s where I spend a lot of my time, so seeing they have a good selection there was important to me. As I took a spin through what they had to offer, I kept a running list of my favorites, and I’ve got a bunch to share with you today!

But before we get into those…

How do you use NextDay and how do you know what items are eligible?

Well, they’ve made it super easy! Just go to Walmart.com on your phone and at the top of your screen in the left corner is a toggle switch for NextDay delivery if it’s available in your area. Just tap that so that when you browse, the only items that will pop up will be NextDay eligible! Pretty sweet huh?

Here’s a little screenshot that shows you what it’ll look like if you’re shopping from your phone:

So whether you need a gift or a few items for yourself, you’ll be able to find what you need and get it super fast in one box. I think it’s a huge bonus that you aren’t stuck with multiple boxes to break down (yay!). Plus, it saves you a trip, which is awesome when you’re in a pinch or you’re tying to be efficient with your time (that’s me!).

Now let’s take a look at the items I found in the NextDay eligible home section.

Saving time and money is important to me, so I was excited to hear about Walmart’s new NextDay delivery service! It’s fast and FREE when you spend $35, and everything arrives the next day in one box. Learn more in my blog post. All of these awesome …

As you’d expect from Walmart, the prices on these pieces of furniture and home decor are awesome and I was impressed with all the positive reviews I read for many of them. I always suggest reading reviews if you can when you’re shopping online - it’s a great way to make it a positive experience and make sure you’re getting what you want!

I wanted to highlight a few of my favorites that I thought were especially great finds:

  • Set of 3 bullet planters ($76) : These planters are really well designed and are SUCH a great price for the set. Y’all know I’m a serious plant lover and I’m putting these on my list for our new house. I’m excited that I can pop them in my cart and they’ll be at my home in a hurry!

  • Black Knit Pouf ($45): Poufs are such versatile pieces of decor! They can be used in so many places for a foot rest or extra seating. Note that this pouf comes in multiple colors, but only the black is NextDay eligible at this time.

  • Modern Metal Tripod Lamp ($19): Have you ever moved to a new place only to discover the lighting is terrible and you need a lamp ASAP? Well, this one (with great reviews!) might be a perfect fit. They style goes with just about anything and you can’t beat the price.

  • Acacia Tray ($19): NextDay delivery is awesome for last-minute gifting. I thought this tray would make a perfect hostess gift, and you don’t have to leave the house to go pick it up! Use it for serving at a dinner party or for corralling items on top of a dresser.

  • Gray Rolling Cart ($39): This is similar to the one we have in our nursery and I LOVE it. It’s so functional and handy to have nearby, but compact enough to tuck away into a corner.

So, did I get your attention with Walmart’s NextDay delivery? Has anyone tried this new service yet?
