Affordable Christmas Decor From Target
It seems like Christmas and holiday decor come out earlier and earlier every year, doesn’t it? And while I’m one to savor each season as we’re living it, the nature of retail sometimes makes us plan farther ahead than we’d like! Purchasing Christmas decor definitely falls into that category if you want the best selection.
Now that most collections have dropped, I’ve found myself browsing this year’s options to see what’s available, and let me tell you, there’s some good stuff out there!
I’ll probably put together a few roundups in the coming weeks, but I thought I’d start with some affordable Christmas decor from Target - a personal favorite source. All of these items are under $70, with the majority being in the $15-30 range. So if you’re looking to refresh your home’s Christmas decorations or add to them, this is a great place to do it.
I’ve included faux greenery (wreaths, garland, and a tree), tabletop decor, ornaments, and more. All of the items I’ve pulled for today’s list are highly rated as well, which is always reassuring when you’re browsing online. There are a lot of great pieces to choose from, so don’t be afraid to dig around a bit too as you click over to Target’s website. Happy shopping!
Christmas Decor from Target - Sources:
Faux Spruce Christmas Tree ($60) - these come in various sizes and they’d make a great set if you have a larger area to decorate. Even though they say they’re indoor use only, I bet they’d be ok on a covered porch as well.
Set of 3 Wood Ornaments ($15) - I can’t quite tell if they have a finish to them, but these would be really fun to decorate as well if they’re unfinished! Or leave them natural to add a Scandinavian vibe to your tree.
Set of 3 Bird Figurines ($10) - these were just too cute not to include. They also come in an ornament version in neutral colors like this set or an adorable colorful version.
Preserved Boxwood Wreath ($20) - at 10.5”, these would be perfect on windows or the back of dining chairs. Preserved boxwood is real, so these require a little more care to keep them looking their best!
A-Frame Christmas Cabin ($20) - this is the cutest little bit of tabletop decor! It’s a modern take on the classic Dickens village houses and its battery powered light means it can go just about anywhere in your home.
Faux Needle Pine & Snowberry Garland ($30) - there’s a reason they’ve been bringing this garland back year after year - they’re GOOD! I have several that I’ve used on my mantle and bannister, and I can’t wait to pull them out again.
Woven Tree Collar ($80) - I switched to a tree collar a couple of years ago and i don’t know if I’ll ever go back to a skirt. They look so good and give a nice weight to the base of the tree. Just be sure to put it over the stand before you add the tree!
Mini Ceramic House Set ($45) - created to hold an LED tea light, these houses would make for a charming arrangement on a mantel or shelf. I’d love to see them mixed into greenery too.
Rustic Modern Tree ($15) - these come in two sizes and I think you need both! They have such great texture and lend themselves well to a lot of styles.
Multicolor Velvet Ornaments ($35) - last year, a similar set basically went viral and sold out quickly. This year’s version has slightly more saturated colors and seems to be just as popular. Snatch them up when you see them in stock!
Ceramic Bell Garland ($20) - I’m so tempted to snag this for our mantel swag, but I have a slight fear that my child will mess with it too much. Metal seems like a better bet for us for now! The neutral color would pop so nicely against greenery!
Preserved Grass & Leaf Wreath ($50) - preserved greenery usually comes at a high price, but this one is very reasonable. I liked the fullness of it as well as the unique shape of the leaves. It’s sure to be a conversation starter.
