Vacation Anyone? Check Out These Beautifully Designed Airbnbs
via A-Frame Haus on Airbnb
I don't know about you, but I love scouting out beautiful vacation homes (and daydreaming about staying in them!). Whether it's in a magazine, on Instagram, or my personal favorite, on Airbnb, it's fun to swipe through photos of these well-designed spots that are R&R ready.
Since it's vacation season, I thought it would be fun to round up a handful of these from around the country and share the eye candy with y'all. I've had some of these bookmarked for awhile and some are new to me, but they're all definitely on my "someday" list now. These are listed on Airbnb, so if they strike your fancy, you can easily book them for your next vacation! For more photos and to read more about them, click the link and head to the listing. First up, the The Hunter Greenhouse. I first came across this stunning modern A-frame on Instagram and when I realized it was a vacation rental, I was pumped. Hello soaring ceilings and abundant natural light!
It's located in the Catskills in New York, which is an easy drive from Philadelphia. We took a spontaneous overnight trip to that neck of the woods last fall and had a blast. I'm eager to go back, and this home is definitely on my list. It's a beautiful area year round and I can just imagine spending a weekend there with friends.
The mid-century eclectic style is right up my alley and I have a not-so-secret love for A-frame cabins, so I'm definitely on board with this whole situation. Also, can we talk about that plant wall in the second photo?
Next up, we have another A-frame! It's fittingly called the A-Frame Haus, and it has a similar feel to the other one, but has a slightly more clean, modern design style. It's located in Utah, so for all of you west coasters (or those who want to travel out there!), this A-frame is for you!
From the listing information, it's not far from Salt Lake City and some ski areas, so it would be a perfect place to get outside and take advantage of the natural beauty, or you can simply post up and enjoy a relaxing time at the house. I love the optionality.
Switching gears, we're headed to the beach in California for the next Airbnb! The Beach Lodge is another home I follow on Instagram and am dying to get to some day when I'm in that part of the world. It's in Hollywood Beach, which is between LA and Santa Barbara.
It has a light and airy, boho eclectic style, which is another of my favorites. The open layout is conducive to spending time with friends or family, and the beach is just a block away when you're ready to head out and enjoy that California sunshine.
Ready to escape reality for a little while and enjoy some super modern design? Then the Luxurious Rural Retreat might be just right for you. It's located a little over an hour north of NYC on a secluded piece of property and has a unique architectural design that'll have your jaw dropping. It's perfect for a solo traveler or a couple who wants a quick escape from the city.
This little house has a totally open concept from top to bottom. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are downstairs, and the bedroom and bathroom are upstairs in an open loft that faces the woods with wall-to-wall windows. I can only imagine what it would be like to wake up with that view!
Finally, we have the Eco-Luxury Farmhouse Oasis located in the heart of northern California's wine country - Sonoma County. This modern farmhouse is like its own miniature resort - there's a pool just outside your door! With the way it's designed, you can live that indoor/outdoor lifestyle. And if you're traveling with a pup, you're in luck - it's pet friendly! As someone who likes to travel with my dog, Jackson, I'm always on the hunt for places that will allow my little guy to come.
So, what do you think of these vacation rentals? Are you going to add any of them to your dream list? I'd book any one of them in a heartbeat!
Also, if you or anyone you know is looking to design a vacation home like one of these, I'd love to help! One of my dreams is to design an Airbnb. Shoot me a note if you've got an idea or a place you'd like to work on!
